The MGPTS Type III is a large, modular, internal arch supported tent which provides versatile, clear span interior usable space. All MGPTS Type III systems are modular in length and can be extended in 18’ increments simply by adding intermediate modules. The MGPTS Type III utilizes the concept of a tensioned fabric roof with internal arch support to create a structure which distributes wind, rain and snow loads from the fabric directly to the support system. Tensioned fabric structures distribute loads more efficiently with lighter support systems than comparable non-tensioned fabric tents. The internal arch provides for an open, unobstructed interior. The use of interchangeable components between different tents provides for great flexibility and site appropriate assembly. The MGPTS Type III blends into the infrared environment. It will not absorb radiation nor allow a silhouette to be detected in the infrared spectrum.

- Can be assembled in winds of 25 mph, and, when fully erected, withstands a steady wind of 55 mph for 30 minutes and wind gusts of 65 mph in three second durations from any direction
- Passes snow load test of 10 lbs. per square foot for 12 hours
- Withstands exposure to direct sunlight for 18 months and tolerates temperatures up to 160º F
